What Can Books Do? is a collaborative publication by the Otis MFA Graphic Design Class of 2025, created with the support of Draw Down Books. Through interviews and graphic interpretations of contemporary design titles, the graduate students offer unique insights into the evolving landscape of design-related publications and works by designers. In addition to my personal response to Natural Enemies of Books: A Messy History of Women in Printing and Typography, I also collaborated with Angie Chan on the design for a short interview.
